I think that you will find that the only time clubs let you know anything, is when sales increase.

Sounds very ominous! Is it some sort of punishment going away present from Dan Hall?

What will the club say?

Sorry, I had my migraine treatment and a whopping great migraine yesterday, so only just picking this up.

The club said they were going to email all season ticket holders yesterday, but i’m not sure if they’ve done so (as I have already requested a plastic card).

Each season ticket holder will be emailed a ticket a few days before each game. I have been told, by a person who has purchased more than one, that if as a family you paid for more than one season ticket, the email will go to the person who paid for the season tickets.

I have described this to the club as a logistical nightmare.
Basically, we are all going to get 23 emails instead of 1 plastic card. I can’t see how this is sustainable for the club, even if the emails are automatic.
it’s like saying, we’ve got your money but we’re not going to give you access to games unless you log into your email (or have access to the person’s email who bought your season tickets).

A hugely backward step which disrespects the people who pay the club money.

You can request a plastic card if you wish.

Families always buy and pay together yes most of the time tune up at different times, pathetic. Prem clubs have season tickets on apple wallet that lasts the season which makes more sense, not on a game by game basis. Glad I didn’t renew amongst many other reasons.

I spoke to the ticket office today. They told me a letter will be sent out next week giving an option as to whether you would like to receive your ticket in the form of
the traditional plastic card or straight to your wallet and once received you merely send your preference back to them.

So they have had a rethink since the email they sent me 48 hours ago?

I spoke to the ticket office several weeks ago and they told me exactly same as Merge.

Sounded like a shambles to me, but a manageable one from my side so I couldn't be bothered to argue.

This is Grabowski going for some new shiny technology solution to a problem that didn't exist.
