Read these tea leaves as you will but I emailed the club a few weeks ago about my visit. I mentioned the following in the thread about the open day on 21 August. Steve did email me back after the match Tuesday and apologized for his late response and that he only found my email in his Junk email folder. He offered to put a picture of me in the program as a way to apologize for the late response. My point being that he is still in charge enough to make those sorts of decisions. That does not really answer your question about long-term positions at the club.
I am so tired of the heat and humidity of the summers in the southeastern USA.

Companies House has updated and has added
John Grabokswi
Alan Jeyes

To the list of directors.

So far no more resignations or changes.

I’m sure that John Grabokswi was/is a part of the club underdog team, he was at the last fans forum and he has also stood on the terrace at some games last season, If he has been named as a director then my uninformed opinion suggests that any takeover by another group is now off! As I say just an opinion formed through a combination of logic and a lack of clarification from the club ie 2+2=5

If we had a proper manager and a team that gave a flying f*** about this club then we wouldn't need to 'create' revenue because it would organically roll in. This is the simple equation. Winning = larger crowds and therefore increased revenues on the gate, through merch and in the bars. It has been thus since the day that Adam asked Eve for a kickabout.

Still no news of the owners. No visibility of anyone in the directors box who could be mistaken for the fabled Youssef Al Sharif. What on earth is going on?

It’s been reported that when Grabowski has been pressed he has only said it’s “not his place to say”. Obviously getting a clear answer out of Thommo on a matchday is like getting Bradbury to win a game. So who actually knows and wants to tell the fans?

Not sure if it means anything but Anwar Uddin was at the game Saturday and he is part of the new proposed ownership group I believe.

He’s a non-executive director, not an owner. The only owner we know that was there is Andy Carroll. They really need to give us an update soon. We don’t need to constantly hear from any owners, but it would be good to know their names and if they are actually through the door yet.

At the end of the day it doesn’t really matter if we have new owners or not, whoever is running this shit show doesn’t have a bloody clue!
I’ve just looked at the Daggers website and there is a picture of the Bedford fc entrance where we are going this weekend for the FA Cup preliminary round, it looks like a Sunday morning teams ground but you just know that they are going to kick our arse, how the (not so) mighty have fallen and nobody in the boardroom seems to give a flying toss.

Also noted from Saturdays programme, that there was no match sponsor for the 3rd (out of 4 total) game in a row.
Out of the remaining 19, there are grand total of 3 games sponsored for the entire season.
Halcyon days.

Here’s what I’ve heard:

1. It’s fallen through, Mr interim chairman hasn’t been seen for weeks.

2) The dreadful start to the season has caused a delay in the announcement as people won’t like who it is (Egyptians) making it a big tinderbox, the Serry thing makes sense now.

3) it’s all done and Dan Hall is refusing to sign off because he was sacked by underdog and now he is demanding most of his investment back and the new owners or underdog don’t want too pay him off.

4) There are no new owners it’s all a trick to get underdog back in the good books and they’ll reappear went it went well. Backfired.

No idea if any of the above is true.

3) definitely isn’t true. He’s not a director of the club anymore nor is he part of Club Underdog now. So there is nothing for him to sign off and it’s tough shit if he is out of pocket.

I think if it’s anything it’s 2) or 4). I have always said that I think the rest of Underdog are going to stick around, rebrand and have brought on another external investor (the “Qataris”) as they have always planned to do.

Simply playing Devil's Advocate with the owners as I am no fan myself, but in terms of the start to the season, even with their limited Non League football knowledge I'm not certain how much of the last couple of months is on them... It is obvious that we have given the new manager backing to bring in a squad of players that are literally not as good as several part-time opponents in the same league.

Both teams who went down with us last year from the National League are six and eight points ahead of us, with Ebbsfleet not winning in the last five! Meanwhile Fylde in the NLN have 19 points from 8 games and have scored 20 goals... There are only 3 teams currently 'worse' than is in this part-time league and one of those we failed to beat... If Chippenham and Eastbourne had played us by now they would likely both be 1 or 3 points higher than they currently are.

It's inconceivable that a Management team could have been brought in this summer that recruited such an uncompetitive team to play in this division... If I was part of a new ownership with any ability to not go through with a deal currently for the club, I would rightly be taking a looooong look in the mirror before signing anything off. Even theoretical money spinning income from an FA Cup run this season could be dead before the 14th of September.
