Their third goal was truly a sight to behold. The way they just passed the ball around our statues was stunning. Perhaps the grass was far too high and our players got lost in it!
Sometimes it's best not to say anything Bradbury you're only making yourself look a prat, your team are quite adept at doing that for you already.
Worthing home
One of the worst goals I've seen conceded at any level.
First goal Trent miscontrols then leaves the pass short, I'm not even convinced he looked at the forward, but before he'd even played the pass I shouted no because I could see what was coming.
Second goal was when they started to switch the ball and drag us around. Lusala beaten too easy, Stephenson tracks his man but then switches off and leaves him free, Maghoma also flat footed and lets his man run off him.
Fourth goal is a great hit but ref has put the wall too far back and if Maghoma had jumped he could've stopped it. Haigh brainless challenge too as he'd already been warned.
Trent did actually make a great goal line clearance or it could've been worse. Not that it should be more than a rare highlight in his disasterclass.

The Trent clearance was about two foot over the line, I was walking out behind the goal at that point. Some of those goals a simply unforgivable, we’re in big trouble.
We have now conceded seventeen goals in eight games and therefore not likely to win many games whilst averaging conceding two goals a game.
The defence is too wide open, for instance I believe Reggie Young is a good player but is not a wing back, he should be playing further up the pitch as his strength is his ability to run at defenders and create or score goals not defend.
Not sure where Kalambayi was again as he is probably our best defender but
their centre forward frightened the life out of both Maghoma and Rendall each time he had the ball.
As I have already said in a previous post we need at least another four players in particular to shore up our defence and midfield areas because if not things will just continue in this manner.

Why did he change the shape today? Rendall, Young and even Lusala in a back 4 is so naive.
Why didn't he take Haigh off?
Why did he even sign some of these players?
Why can't a team of full time professional players, almost all of whom have played at higher levels, manage basic things like tracking runners, marking, passing the ball 5 yards?
It isn't particularly difficult. They aren't Barcelona. Press them high and with intensity, win the ball back, shoot at the goal. We seemingly can only manage it for 15 mins. Are we unfit? Are we just lazy? Are we scared? It's pathetic.
Agree 100% on all these observations.
Who was the part time team on that pitch ?, a neutral would of got it wrong.

How much of this is the wide open defense vs a goal keeper letting things slip past that should be stopped? I was able to watch the 10 minute highlights of Worthing. Yikes is m only thought.len wrote: Mon Sep 08, 2025 10:49 am We have now conceded seventeen goals in eight games and therefore not likely to win many games whilst averaging conceding two goals a game.
I am so tired of the heat and humidity of the summers in the southeastern USA.

We signed a new keeper but it’s not even his fault, if you let teams have as many crosses and shots that we allow you will inevitably concede lots of goals.

Just when you may have thought Daggers couldn't sink further down the dark recesses of abject misery this year, they were not just beaten, but thrashed by Worthing, with five mostly farcical goals added to what is now the league's joint-highest tally.
