The club is too busy announcing pro west ham content on various social media platforms, rather addressing the elephant in the room (the owners).

I notice at this stupid "Watchalong with Andy Carroll" night that there's a Q&A session at the end. Maybe the first question should be "As a member of the ownership group can you tell us who the others are?"

This is actually a great idea. Then the second question, third, fourth, fifth etc until we get an answer

I've heard and seen from various people on social media about the takeover speculation:

1 - the takeover is stuck in limbo, hence why 'joe' has returned to watching dagenham, following a 2 month hiatus

2- The deal is done on Qatar's behalf, and CU are behaving like they usually behave

3- CU are deliberately stalling on purpose, possibly looking for other investors

4 - financial tension is rising (statement on player abuse thread)

5 - state funding is involved, hence why it's taking ages

6 - John Grabowski is saying that the process is coming to a close/ paperwork needs to be signed

Absolutely no way in hell is state funding involved. If it was then it would have been wrapped up ages ago as the legal team employed wouldn’t be messing around. Also a reminder that we are Dagenham not Man United.

The deal is stuck in limbo at best, more likely it has collapsed. If we had an agreement to sell we would be signing players that we desperately need when we are struggling to fill a bench. We would be hiring an assistant manager too.

The only way the above is allowed to happen whilst a takeover is still set to go ahead is if the decision has been made to not waste a single penny further on Bradbury as he will be sacked immediately. But if that’s the case and they’re letting the club temporarily rot, then what a great way to get the new ownership off to a flyer.

Agreed. if the takeover is virtually done and dusted. Why haven’t they appointed a new assistant manager post Jerry Gill stepping down?

Seeing elsewhere that it is now 100 days since the takeover was announced. Yet it still hasn’t happened and we are none the wiser on who these people are.

I’m really coming over to believing that post that was made a couple of weeks ago about the takeover being dead in the water and us having no money. It’s very worrying times indeed.

Such a shame we don’t have fan representatives on the board to push Grabowski, Thompson, Rizzetta etc for an answer and fight for the interests of us fans. Oh wait a sec…

Rizetta is no longer part of club underdog and also no longer a director. I know some are pushing for answers but are getting pied.

I am not a member but about four weeks ago I contacted Alan Jeyes and asked him about the takeover, he told me it was very difficult getting any information out of Club Underdog and from that imagine that only as and when something definite materialises we will hear.
This I believe is how they operate,if not they would have at least issued regular updates.

Well if they have only tried to speak to Underdog and judging by a previous message they’re already gone, then it shows you how smart Jeyes is. Ask Thompson, ask Grabowski, or even this mythical Youssef we have been told about. Except you can’t as he’s not real and the others are too scared to be honest about the fact that the takeover is gone and we are financially ******

Not all the Underdog guys have gone according to companies house two are still directors. The reality is if take over has fell through and the remaining owners are only putting in minimal amount of funding. We are stuck with this manager and squad.

Tonight should be an example of why money is not half of the problem!!

I would imagine Horsham’s budget is a fraction of ours and they’ve just given us a lesson.

People need to stop obsessing with budgets and investments and remember what we are (or used to be) all about.

We are quite literally the worst professional football club in the country. Whatever happens between now and May we should scrap the whole set up at the end of the season and return to being part time and cut our cloth accordingly.

We would probably have been better going bust when Hopkins pulled out and starting again, as a phoenix club going up through leagues rather than down through them.

Whether we would have been better going bust at that point is debatable, but it should absolutely have been the point we took a step back and gone part time and dealt with that accordingly.

Is quite frightening we are a professional club when you watch games like tonight.

Our players are poor quality part-time players but have someone mug enough to pay them a full-time wage.
