I happened across the match live on U-Tube. Nice surprise. I joined well it into the second half when we were already 2-0 up.
I thought we were good in parts – the number 3 on the left looked good and got forward well. We seemed weak at right back (assume the new signing was not on the field by the time I joined). The right back I did see playing was too easily turned and let them in to pull a goal back.
The game did get a bit stretched and we could have had a couple more. Have to say that I cannot see why we did not try to shoot from distance now and again rather than only look to cross it.
Still, it all looked better than last year - which is good.
Also, much respect to Hashtag. They looked strong and energetic and could have scored more. If they play like that this season they should yomp their division.
All in all, a nice way to spend Saturday afternoon. Hope more of our games are put on U-Tube

Absolutely fair play to Hashtag yesterday... They had a Monster Energy truck giving out free drinks all game to fans and we got a flyer from the team advertising a QR code for Daggers fans sending you to a link for a free half season ticket to the club until 1st January. Looking to get fans down when the Daggeers are away from home.
We should have had the game out of sight competitively before it got back to 2-1 but Hashtag battled well for a team at their level.
Gave us real trouble second half down their left, although conscious our right back only joined the squad a day ago.
Might have been me but seemed like Rodari who came on in the second half only got twenty minutes or so then went off again... Not certain what happened there.
Thought our Trialist at left back in the first half looked excellent and the front three started really strong.
Great seeing Dieng looking fit and dominating a game as I thought he and Marsh would have been off a month or so ago when the new manager came in.
