37 days since the Solihull game and still no retained list, amongst a very competitive few off seasons this has to be a new PB for the club. Congratulations.

Suggestions via colleagues this morning or a forward arriving soon and possibly being reported later today, but the retained list is a fascinating one as anyone leaving the club and needing to look elsewhere (assuming they aren't already aware) may have their options limited if teams have started recruiting to positions through the guys they already know across the leagues to be available.
I wonder if the manager will have a specific view on anyone under contract who may move on or be transfer listed? I'm not familiar with our wage structure in terms of who are the current high earners, especially with Tom Eastman leaving who I imagined would have been on a decent contract here given his profile and quality.
Would love to see Phipps extended and Adigun get a new contract and a run int he team next year but I couldn't think of anyone else we would obviously want to keep next season unless on a reduced wage... Could we keep hold of Jones in goal if he is fit over the summer as he looked decent, although Jake Turner would be a preference if available at our level, although I believe he isn't free until next Summer... Hessenthaler and Ling I would expect to move to another club in the division we have just left, Vincent certainly wont return and there were rumours weeks ago that Hill may follow Rees to Hornchurch.

Would love Hessenthaler to stay as he’s had over 500 professional games and never been relegated! Ling would be worth retaining if he could avoid injuries and personally I’d love Phipps staying with us.

I would definitely like Phipps and Ryan Hill to stay with us and with regards to Adigun believe he is only halfway through a two year contract with us which is a good thing as he looks a good prospect.

Southend only released their retained list on Monday, 9th June and Wealdstone at the end of last week, so I'm not quite sure why everyone is getting so impatient, when we only had a new manager come in last week.
I could be wrong, but I thought all retained lists had to be published by 30th June of each year, when contracts end.
The purpose was to help players who were out of contract find new clubs.

Club Underdog have never been forthcoming since they took over ownership of our club and wouldn't expect too much information from them until the legal side has been finalised.
I would love them to be giving regular updates on the progress or otherwise of the sale but not sure that is likely to happen.

Knowing Club underdog and thommo, it wouldn’t surprise me that they faked the ownership statement to try to boost season ticket sales for the 25/26 season.

The supporters NEED TO KNOW who the New Owners are NOW, before the friendly games start, otherwise I can't see anyone turning up for them.
I am sure the new signings must have been told, otherwise they are signing to a club with no guarantee the club will even start the season. How can they be guaranteed they are getting paid if we have NO OWNERS?
