Fans on social media celebrating us "Battling back from being 2-1 behind late on" and ignoring entirely we were 1-0 and had a completely self inflicted red card detail the game for us is peak Dagenham fandom over these last few years

We are in serioys trouble of having nothing to play for this season before Christmas

Well, I'll put the open top bus on hold, but we probably wouldn't have said it was a terrible point beforehand and under the circs it's good one after self-inflicted damage.

I presume DTD your comment was being mischievous rather than serious? We are 2 points above the bottom 4 teams and 4 points blow the play off positions with 39 matches to play. Dover would have been in 5th position if they had won tonight. We have not the best of starts but it is early days. A win on Saturday, the
injured players returning and in a play off position by November😉 ST should still fall on his sword irrespective of the results this season.

I'm assuming we are going to ignore that two of the teams we have played and failed to beat thus far are still behind us in the league (Tonbridge and Salisbury) and neither one has managed a win between them out of 14 games... This is the reality of the opposition we have been playing to date, despite the Manager talking each team up every Tuesday and Saturday like we are int he Group Stage of the Champions League.

Hornchurch are racing through the division with a squad that includes McQueen, Adams, Muldoon, Rees, Balanta, Hare and Weston... Rees aside, this is effectively a Daggers reserve side from years past and they have 19 points out of a possible 21... We are not in a league full of powerhouse teams and, for me, the fact we managed an almost unlikely win at the end of the game a week ago and then immediately got battered at Weston and threw away points yesterday tells me this isn't something we simply work through on the training pitch... There is something rotten still within this squad and anyone expecting a magical turnaround in the next fortnight will be disappointed.

There is every chance the season, as a spectacle, is done by the 13th of September if Bedford turn us over and the attendances come Christmas, out of the FA Cup and 20th in the league could be a killer

Would point out as well that Dover came up against us yesterday having lost two in a row and were behind after 2 minutes... If any scenario was set up perfectly for us to stick a proverbial foot on someone's neck it was last night.

Where does this theoretical situation come from where we take a team apart for 90 minutes with this current squad of players?

I was being deadly serious about us going down, it was around Autumn last year when people on here laughed and said stop being negative etc when I mentioned relegation. Well here we are a division below and in pretty much the same predicament, 1 win in 7 which was fortunate and not playing very well is a big worry.

Our next 4 are against much better sides, this will decide if we’re going to struggle or move up the table, we all know what’s going to happen in these 4 games as preseason and the start tells you that but nobody within the club can read the room. Prove me wrong Mr Bradbury.

To play most of the game with ten men and come away with a point seems a decent outcome.

Where do these "season could be over by September/Christmas" comments come from? Look where we are in the league and how we are playing - this season has the potential to go on much longer than that, just thats is avoiding relegation that we are playing for!

Watched Bradbury's interview, how can he say we were disciplined? Panter got sent off for smacking someone in the face off the ball, pulling and shoving each other then raised his hand, irrelevant that the ref and linesman didn’t actually see it. Completely unnecessary. We were all over them first half, actually enjoyable to watch for once.

6 points from 7 games is unacceptable.

Why would you start someone who got 30 goals at this level last season on the bench?

Except we should not be going down to 10 due to an off the ball incident when we are 1-0 up and in control of the match. It was a massive cock up by us and not excusable. We have to start winning games otherwise the season is already over and Bradbury should be out of a job

Aware you're always very positive on here Len, as seen by the constant comments at the end of last season to anyone who predicted us to go down with five games left in the season, but this one seems daft... We didn't play with ten men because of an injury after we had made all our substitutions, we had a player get sent off for an 'off the ball incident'... That's an absolute disgrace for any team, let alone one desperate for a win and 1-0 after 2 minutes in a game against a team (per a previous message of mine) who had just lost 2 in a row and must have had confidence at a low after our goal.

Anyone making light of the result when we completely imploded due to poor discipline, then had the Manager come out sounding completely tone deaf after the game talking about our positive discipline beggared belief.

I didn't go to the game and of course it was stupid of the player concerned to get himself sent off in such circumstances but to get at least a point with a late equaliser seems a decent result especially the way we have been playing recently.

In silo, it's impossible to disagree Len, but you appear to have missed the large part in the middle of the game when we were 1-0 up and the sending off saw us go 2-1 behind, once again against a side that had lost straight and gone behind here in 2 minutes so HAD to be low on confidence, even compared to us.
