There's already been much discussion about which players could and should be here beyond the summer. Here's my verdict, with reference to the known contract situation:

A good assessment. On the one hand I don't think wholesale change would be helpful this close season as it's been disastrous in the last two. On the other it's hard to keep faith with players who have shown unfathomable inconsistency this year. Even Haigh early doors was incredibly frustrating but came good ( but will probably move on to a league team anyway). Howes was poor early on and poor again recently and Maghoma and PK who have been pretty solid have recently acquired two left feet.
For what its worth I would keep Lawless, Panter, Lusala, Graham, Leech, Carroll ( obviously)Young and Burley ( assuming fitness as there were good reports of him before his injury.) I'd think long and hard about Maghoma and Oteh but might give them the benefit of the doubt. The rest under contract or otherwise I wouldn't miss at all and I'd certainly want a new keeper and midfield 'enforcer'.
