As much as I am pleased to see Anwar's name in the mix, as the club has been missing a football head since the late great Dave Andrews (RIP) retired, I can't help but remember that Tamplin brought in Paul Benson to win people over.

100% acquisition - where do the full members stand in this?

I am relieved that Club Underdog are gone but I am hesitant to be completely jubilant knowing what has gone on before.

Also note that Mr. Youseph Al Sharif is INTERIM Chairman.

Full members still keep their portion.

A few of the words in the statement fill me with a bit more confidence than I felt with club underdog,
“ Relegation was not just a setback on the pitch. It changed how people felt walking through the gates. Rebuilding that pride will take time, transparency and action” This is very true and I hope that by the end of this coming season we see some signs that the pride in the team is returning, let’s also hope that they have deep pockets because to rebuild in a short time is going to cost £££
great that Anwar is in the mix as well as I’m thinking he’s a potential future chairman

Would it make sense that the “interim” chairman role is done on purpose, due to pending Fa approval

My first thought

Let's see in the coming fortnight how this affects incoming and outgoing (if any transfers)... The squad absolutely needs an upgrade, and that's away from bonkers non League rumors like Andy Carroll heading to Chelmsford

Full members only ever had a 7% stake for a while now. Their votes don’t carry any weight and haven’t for a while

Does anyone know a bit more about the new investors? On the first appearance the statement came off very well and it's nice to see they've all put some effort into it.

A quick Google search doesn't bring back much (which may be a good thing)

Having Anwar involved is brilliant too, although I'd be happy to see take a more hands one approach? As I'm sure his experience will be needed.

I'll be looking forward to hearing more from Mr. Youseph Al Sharif, it appears that they've already been involved in the recent additions and changes we've seen at the club?

Did you notice there was no mention of his name or a quote from him in the club statement?

Yeah would be good to have more info. Obviously the return of Anny and somehow signing Carroll are great starts, but we have been fooled too many times. So it would be good to hear more about them.

But at the same time, if they’re going to be silent owners instead of the useless loudmouth Americans that we have had previously, then I’m all for it
